Cute huh?
I just beginning to realize how cute and adorable a Koala is and starting to remember my childhood where Koala has some part in it, i wanna hug 'em ! By reading someone's blog, i just knew that Koala is now being predicate as a beginning-to-extinct-animal because their real habitat was changed into human residences, buildings, illegal logging, etc.Their population has been dropped into 50% and their number is not more than 50.000 ! How shocking is that !
And what also new to me is that a Koala has a sickness named Chlamydiosis. It's a condition where a Koala feel stress and can cause barren, respiratory tract infections, infection in the eye until blindness. Just like human yea? Koala is very human alike. They have finger prints that similar to human's even hard to distinguished.
They seem to me like a very fragile animal that needs a lot of our care and attention. Just like what i saw in news of an Australian Koala named Sam (it's a girl anyway) become a victim of a bushfire, i'm so glad that she's doing fine now. You can check out the evidence here. I'm glad for the initiatives of the firefighter volunteer for offered the drink to her and also amazed she could finished three of them! Poor her.. She must have been very beaten.
I know it's not just Koala that having this kind of experience cause of the human civilization. Many of other animals also need our protection from any harm that can lead them to extinction. Maybe we, human are aliens in their eye. So once again, what we all need is more care and thought of a better future for anyone. Any human being has the right to live and it's not our decision to make 'em extinct only for our necessities of life. The Bible also said that it's not okay to sacrifice one life to save thousands, even just one life but it's worth and valuable.
So please, don't use plastic and save our Koalas !
