With his sharp wit and his rapid mood changes that makes everyone keep a distance.. everyone, true, except Tessa.
There's a man standing in front of her. He's definitely not older than Tessa - seventeen or maybe eighteen years old. The young man wearing what looks like a worker man's clothing - frayed black jacket, long trousers, and boots that look tough. He's not wearing a vest, but wearing thick leather straps that lie across the waist and chest. Stuck in the sash, there are weapons - dagger and pen knife and stuff that look like ice bar. On his right hand, he is holding a kind of stone that shines - luminous object, provides lighting that almost blind Tessa. His other hand - slim and has long fingers - bleeding because Tessa has thrust the back part of his body with jar.
However, that's not what makes her wide open. The young man has the most beautiful face she has ever seen. Messy black hair and eyes like blue glass. Elegant cheekbones, full lips, and eyelashes that long and thick. Moreover, his curve of neck is perfect. He looks like fiction heroes that Tessa ever imagine in her head. Yet, she had never imagine one of them cursed at her while shaking hand that bleeds in an accused motion.
He looks realize that Tessa is looking at her cause of the curses that stopped immediately. "You hurt me," said the young man. His voice is good to hear. British typical. Very normal. He looks at his hand with interest that looks reproachful. "Maybe this is fatal."
----
The fragile beauty hides a deadly secret.
In a square patch of moonlight in front of the window, someone is standing,. A young man - he looks too slim to be an adult - with violin leaned on his shoulder. His cheek is rested to the musical instrument, and the bow being moved forward and backward on the string, twisting the nots out from there, the nots as smooth and as perfect as anything Tessa ever heard.
The young man's eyes is closed. "Will?" said the young man, without opening or stopping his play. "Will, is that you?"
Tessa didn't say anything. She's unable to speak, interrupt the music - but in a moment, the young man stops it himself, lower his bow and open his eyes and frowning.
"Will---" he make a sound, then, look at Tessa, his lips apart cause of shocked. "You're not Will." He sounds wondering, but not at all disturbed eventhough Tessa has burst into his room in the middle of the night and suprised him while playing violin in his pijamas, or something that Tessa thought is his pijamas. The young man wearing long mild loose trousers and shirts without collar, with black silk kimono belted loose upper it. Tessa is right. He's still young, maybe Will's age, and his youth impression grows strong by his slim body. He's tall, but very slim, and lost under the collar of his shirt, Tessa can see tip tendrils curl from black designs that she ever saw on Will's skin, and Charlotte's skin.
Now, Tessa knows what the design is. Mark. And she knows what makes the young man with the marks. Nephilim. Human and Angel descent. Not surprising if in the moonlight, his pale skin looks bright like Will's witchlight. His hair is pale silver, as his eyes are sharp.

To give a little review to one of my favourite books, i've somewhat complaint with the heroine names in some fiction fantasy books. We all know the Isabella Swan, called Bella right? This name sounds okay to me for a fiction heroine figure, it sounds like a name of a beautiful, charming, and need to be protected girl to me. However, nowadays there're so many fiction books come up to the surface and also it's heroine.
To give some example, Clarissa Fray, also known as Clary Fray in The mortal instrument. Sorry for saying this but i think the name is too normal for such a very important major role for the book. I mean, Clary is too normal. She sounds like a normal girl, with a normal life and has the average neighborhood girl's personality. The name resembles much to the author (Cassandra Clare), maybe the author assumes and wishes it's her story that Clary had haha.. Wow i'm such an asshole for saying that
Another one is the newborn story of Theresa Gray, nicknamed Tessa. Goshhh.. dunno why but i don't seem to liking this kind of name a lot. It sounds too.. Cheap! I don't know what's on the author's mind for picking such a name to be the main actress for such a great book! I'm disappointed! Don't you guys agree with me?! I make it sounds like i'm better than the author to pick up the name huh?
