Sorry for my absent post lately, it's been a crazy month to me. I can't share it and although it's tough for me, i hope God will give me strength to get through it. Amen.
Like i promised, i would tell my opinion about Step Up the 4th. And the result is, i like it! It was very artistic and beautiful shoot! Bravo to the marvelous and creative director. This time, the theme is about flash mob. This is new from every dance movie i knew. But to compare with the 2nd, i can't tell which is the best, cause i like both in different theme! Moose and Kido were showed up for the 3rd times. The romance and the drama were okay, not too much and not too bold. I love how they put a Salsa scene in it. Just like Step Up 2 and Street dance 2, it's always been good spices for the movie. I just can't stop saying "cool, awesome, cool, awesome" along the movie, same as when i watched Step Up 2. My favorite scene is when they did the flash mob at a fancy restaurant. It's very classic, yet so elegant. So, the 2nd and the 4th are my fave now from all other dance movie :)
For Expendable 2, it was.. better than the first of course (probably just because of Liam). Although, i don't see the meaning and logic of the show up of Chuck Norris. It has stories and plot right now, revenge and save the world. And how i envy the cast Maggie Chang, not because of she's hit something with Stallone. All this time i've been dreaming to cast an action girl among man, like bond girl or etc. It was cool to fight and shoot with beauty kill, lol. I kinda wonder if the fight scene of Barney and Vilain was acted by the stuntman or the real actor theirselves. I mean, they're already old and it's just pity how they will break their fragile bones. And i just found out in this movie that Liam (with his light beard, really Chris look alike) has the same heavy voice and same sweet smile with Chris, making me fall for him too ♥ (i didn't realize this from Liam's previous movies!) My favorite scene is when the local people asked who they are, and they (one by one) answered, Stallone : "American" | Lee : "Since when?" | Toll : "Swedish" | Hale Caesar : "Black" | Maggie : "Chinese" | Gunner : "Retard"
